Terms and conditions
Effective from September 29, 2026. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of AgroSell on the web and in the app. By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
01What AgroSell is
AgroSell is a platform that connects companies that sell and buy grain. AgroSell does not buy or sell goods on its own account: it verifies companies, inspects listings, generates contracts between the parties and administers payment escrow.
02Accounts and verification
Only companies whose file has been approved by AgroSell may trade: tax ID, tax compliance certificate, bank certificate and legal representative ID. AgroSell may request additional documents, reject an application or suspend an account in the event of false information, misuse or risk to other parties.
Each user is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for what is done with their account. We recommend enabling two-step verification.
03Listings
Whoever lists guarantees that the information is true and that they have the goods or buying capacity declared. Sell listings are inspected before they go to the market; AgroSell may flag or reject them. Listing is free.
04Negotiation and identity
The parties negotiate price and quantity on the platform. During negotiation each party sees the other by a commercial alias; company names are revealed when the buyer deposits payment into escrow.
05Contracts
Once an offer is accepted, a contract is generated with the agreed terms, which both parties must sign on the platform. The contract also requires AgroSell’s validation. During launch, deals are made under EXW terms: the buyer picks up at the place indicated by the seller.
06Payment escrow
Once the contract is validated, the buyer deposits the full amount into the escrow account shown in the contract, with its reference. AgroSell holds those funds and releases them to the seller once delivery has been confirmed, after deducting the fee. The buyer must only transfer to the account shown in their contract inside the platform.
If the deal is not completed, funds are returned or released according to the outcome of the dispute or the agreement between the parties.
07Fee
AgroSell charges a fee of 1 % of the total amount of each completed contract, deducted from the seller when escrow is released. Creating an account, listing and negotiating are free.
08Disputes
While payment is in escrow, either party may open a dispute in the contract. Funds stay on hold until it is resolved. AgroSell reviews the information and evidence provided by the parties and decides on the release or return of the funds.
09Agents
A company may authorize an agent to act on its behalf with specific permissions and for a set period. The agent cannot sign contracts, move escrow funds or confirm deliveries. The company is responsible for what the agent does within the permissions granted and may revoke them at any time. The agent’s commission is agreed between the agent and the company they represent; AgroSell does not take part in that agreement.
10Prices, weather and information
Reference prices come from external sources (for example, the Chicago close converted to US dollars per tonne) and state their date. Weather information shows meteorological compatibility with a spraying rule and does not replace the product label or professional judgement. This information is for guidance only and is not commercial, financial or agronomic advice.
11Prohibited use
It is prohibited to publish false information, impersonate another person or company, manipulate prices, use the platform for unlawful purposes or attempt to bypass the platform’s controls.
It is also prohibited to use the platform for money laundering or to finance unlawful activities, to trade goods of unlawful origin or without the required phytosanitary documents, to create several accounts to evade a suspension or a verification, and to attempt to access other users’ accounts or AgroSell’s systems.
12Liability
AgroSell is responsible for holding funds in escrow in accordance with these terms. Each party is responsible for the quality, quantity and delivery of the goods and for performing the contract it signs. AgroSell is not liable for damages arising from false information provided by users or from causes beyond its control.
AgroSell does not guarantee that the platform will be available without interruption and is not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the platform.
13Intellectual property
AgroSell’s software, design, brand and content belong to AgroSell. Using the platform grants no rights over them. The market data shown on the platform is for the registered user’s use and may not be reproduced or sold without authorization.
14Personal data
We process data in accordance with the Privacy policy.
15Changes
We may update these terms. We will give advance notice of relevant changes within the platform or by email.
16Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción.
